Houston Oilers and Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams has died.

Sources says that Adams died of natural causes.  Adams was one of the original owners that created the American Football League back in 1959.

Adams died less than 72 hours after the death of Bum Phillips, both were 90.  Adams and Phillips will be forever linked in Houston Oiler sports history for the "Luv Ya Blue" days.

Adams earned the ire of Houston sports fans, first for firing Bum Phillips in 1980, and for moving the Oilers to Nashville following the 1997 season.  The now Tennessee Titans, in their third season went to the Super Bowl.  Something the team never did in Houston.
