Trump Lawyer Accuses Mueller Team of Obtaining Documents Illegally

The Trump administration is stepping up its attack on the credibility of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe.

Fox News says it obtained a letter from a lawyer for the Trump transition team accusing Mueller's office of improperly receiving transition documents.

The letter sent to Senate and House committees today claims staff at the General Services Administration acted unlawfully in handing over the documents, which include confidential attorney-client and privileged communications.

The counsel to Trump for America says Mueller's office knew the GSA did not own or control the records, but still used the material in their investigation.

There have been rumors that Trump will fire Mueller as the President is showing growing frustration with the investigations into possible collusion between the campaign and Russia in the 2016 election.
