For Father’s Day Pampers Wants to Remedy Unequal Access to Changing Tables

Pampers announced an initiative to install 5,000 baby changing tables in Men’s public restrooms by 2021. Their ‘Love the Change’ campaign hopes to make changing tables more accessible to dad in high-need public locations across North America.

The issue of unequal access to baby changing tables came to light after a video of a Florida father squatting against the wall of a bathroom to change his baby went viral last year under the hashtag #SquatForChange.

According to research by Pampers, nine out of ten dads have gone into public restrooms that do not have changing table, leaving many dads to resort to make shift changing tables.

The first 500 changing tables are expected to be installed in public places like parks and libraries across the United States and Canada in the coming weeks.
