People Walking At Airport

Travelers spent nearly four centuries waiting for delayed flights at Bush Intercontinental Airport last year.

In 2018, flight delays caused by bad weather, mechanical problems, missing crew, and other issues kept passengers at Houston's biggest airport waiting a total of about 393 years, with an average delay time of 72 minutes.

Bush's overall delay was 17th worst in the nation.

Coming in third was DFW Airport, where passengers waited nearly 900 years in 2018.

Topping the list was O'Hare in Chicago, at more than 11-hundred-years.
