But a whistleblower’s complaint shows that Facebook itself has inadvertently provided the two extremist groups with auto-generated sites.
Media Research Center senior research analyst Corinne Weaversaid a whistleblower is exposing Facebook helping spread extremist material.
"The company has at least 200 auto-generated pages on the platform that reference the Islamic in a positive light," said Weaver. "Facebook spent a little of last week trying to sensor the pro-life page Live Action, but they still have 200 pages that say, some of them say, 'I love the Islamic State'," said Weaver.
She said at the very least people need to support conservative politicians who are trying to put a stop to the censorship.
