Texas Senator Ted Cruz paid off his bet with Virginia Senator Tim Kaine over the Astros-Nationals world series. Cruz provided a lunch of Texas barbecue and Shiner beer for inside-the-beltway associates, donning a Nationals ball cap and Anthony Renden jersey.
Senator Cruz had brisket flown in from Cruez Market Barbecue just south of Austin, which proved to be so tasty and delightful, pleasing all the guests in attendance, now some are asking the Texas senator to host the annual bipartisan Senate barbecue party.
