Rep Steve Scalise Schools Keith Ellison

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison must not be a big of watching the news.

Yesterday on Twitter he told his followers:

"I have never seen @BernieSanders supporters being unusually mean or rude. Can someone send me an example of a “Bernie Bro” being bad. Also, are we holding all candidates responsible for the behavior of some of their supporters? Waiting to hear."

I'm sure right now as you're reading this, assuming you actively follow the news, you're thinking of dozens of examples of Bernie-supporting members of antifa protesting on college campuses, attacking citizen journalists in the Pacific Northwest, and driving a van into a GOP voter registration booth in Florida (I'm just listing things that very recently happened).

But of all the examples to give Ellison about why he's wrong, the best comes to us courtesy of Louisiana's Rep Steve Scalise (R).

In case you're not catching what just happened, Steve Scalise was shot by a Bernie Sanders supporter while practicing for the Congressional baseball game.

Fox News reports:

A gunman believed to be a supporter of former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders sprayed a hail of bullets at a GOP baseball practice in Alexandria, Va. Wednesday morning, critically wounding House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., and injuring three others before U.S. Capitol Police took him down.
