Group wants to ensure that the Supreme Court isn't packed

We've heard a lot lately about 'packing' the Supreme Court. There's an effort underway to prevent that.

A group of attorneys general from both parties have formed 'Keep Nine,' which executuve Director Roman Buhler says has one goal: amend the Constitution to keep the court as is

"To preserve the independence of the Supreme Court. It takes just 13 words. The Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine justices," Buhler said.

That's because Joe Biden won't answer questions about packing the court as President.

"Let's say I answer that question," Biden explained last week. "Then the whole debate will be about it."

Republican strategist Luke Macias likes the idea, but can it really happen?

"It seems more like a talking point. I don't see it actually happening," Macias stated.

Back when he ran, Beto O'Rourke talked about adding six justices to the Supreme Court bench.
