Trump, Biden go head to head on debate stage tonight

President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden go head to head for the first time in the first of three scheduled debates tonight in Cleveland.

So what can you expect? Republican strategist Jessica Colon says expect Trump to be Trump.

"We will see the President come out strong, bold, and really talk about the agenda that he has implemented and succeeded at while in office," Colon stated.

Rice University's Mark Jones says tonight is crucial for Biden.

"This is without a doubt the most pivotal debate of Joe Biden's career," Jones explained. "It will be one that is distinct from what he is used to."

Because Trump is not your usual politician. Colon says Biden will struggle with that.

"We can expect Biden to attempt to tear the President's record to shreds, and he will fail," Colon stated.

Fox's Chris Wallace moderates the debate on topics like the Supreme Court and COVID-19.

KTRH has coverage of tonight's debate starting at 7 on the air, online, and on the iHeartRadio app.
