Rice University is one of the best universities in the country. That's according to Wallethub, which ranked the Houston university at number six in the country and the number university in Texas. Researchers compared over a thousand universities in the country and based the rankings on several factors, including cost and financing, campus safety, educational outcomes, and career outcomes.
UT Austin was ranked 45th in the nation and Trinity University 61st.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology was number one in the nation, Princeton number two, then the California Institute of Technology, Harvard and Yale.
