Fans waiting for the sequel to Suicide Squad will be interested to know that the film will return without one of the heavy hitters from the original. Will Smith is not expected to be returning at Deadshot for the second film. Sources say that his busy schedule is the main factor in this decision.
The studio is still keeping the cast for Suicide Squad 2 on the down low but were not quiet about the hopes of Harley Quinn (Margo Robbie) and Deadshot (Smith) would return. Only time will tell what version of the suicide Squad will hit the big screen this time around, but the clock is definitely ticking for the studio with the release date currently set for August 6, 2021.
