RIP to horror icon Sid “Captain Spaulding” Haig who passed away Saturday at age 80. Recently Haig had suffered a bad fall which resulted in him spending some time in the emergency room. After being dismissed fans were hopeful that Sid would return to good health and seemed to be making a slow recovery. Sadly on early Monday, September 23, his wife posted on Instagram word of his passing. Having over 100 acting credits to his name since the 1960's Haig was best know for his roles on the Rob Zombie Films House of a 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and even a small role in 3 From Hell. He was know to be friendly and down to earth with his fans and all who met him. He will be missed.
