A Phoenix man is behind bars after police caught him doing the nasty with his cat.
Michael G. Navage, 40, faces multiple animal cruelty and drug charges in connection with the incident, which occurred Wednesday. Police were alerted to the encounter by a neighbor, who reported hearing a cat scream and a man complain that a cat was "stuck on his genitals," according to the police report. When officers arrived, they found Navage, naked, holding the cat near his crotch. The cat was wrapped in a towel.
Navage claimed he was merely drying the feline, but the cops didn't buy his story. A subsequent search of the bathroom uncovered meth and drug paraphernalia, police say. And a medical inspection of the cat revealed Navage had done more than just dry it.
