Sandbox strong. If you knew Matt Patrick, you need no further definition of the phrase. The late and great radio talker showed his strength every day; battling the tides of politics, personal integrity, and in the end, the long but unwinnable battle with cancer.
But even in death, the Matt Patrick Memorial Foundation was born. We took part in the first fundraiser last summer and now the first Radiomattrick #SandboxStrong Award has been given to Redd Stahl of Magnolia, Texas. Check out the photos of Matt’s widow Paula and son Jake presenting the award and a stipend to Redd and wife Chrissy; battling cancer themselves while also being the great community givers that embodies our beloved Matt Patrick.
