It sounds like a great movie title: Republican revenge! But it's reality, and it's going to happen if the GOP takes back control of the House.
"I think so, and I think leader McCarthy will be the next speaker" said Congressman Troy Nehls, "He's going to conduct several investigations, and I would look at Nancy Pelosi, I would look at all of them."
Call it GOP payback, in response to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats who sent subpoenas to 5 Republicans. And while the Dems have been locked in on January, Republicans will have plenty of issues to choose from, once they regain power.
"I would look at Hunter Biden and his laptop, I would look at Dr. Fauci and Covid, I would conduct several investigations in January of 2023, once we take the House back" Congressman Nehls told KTRH, "That would be my recommendation and my wish with leader McCarthy, that he would look at it the same way."
It is not a good look for the Democrats, as the Biden administration has been a true disaster. As a result, with no policy wins to promote, and a nation reeling from sky high inflation, unreal gas prices, crime, and division, all the Dems have left is to focus on January 6.
"It's all about the midterm elections, they just want to go after Donald Trump" noted Nehls, "This committee is not about January 6, it's about Donald Trump and destroying him, any members of Congress that support an America first agenda, that's what this committee is going to do. They have nothing else to talk about."
