Man Calls Police On Train Passenger Who Was Eating Burrito

A man riding on a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train was captured on video calling police on a fellow passenger because he was eating a burrito while sitting on the train. The two-and-a-half minute exchange was recorded by another passenger and uploaded to Reddit

In the video, a man wearing a Hawaiin shirt calls out another rider who is enjoying a late lunch.

"You can't wait? Sign says no eating and drinking. You don't get it? You must be stupid. I've seen people like you on TV."

He leans back in his seat as people laugh, but he wasn't done. The man gets up from his seat and announces he is going to call BART police to deal with the hungry passenger.

“I’ll get the police on board, how about that."

He then walks over to an intercom and calls for police assistance.

"Can you get a policeman on board here? We've got somebody dining in the first car."

The man then returned to his seat, but not before taking a photo of the rule-breaker.

Other passengers appear to be sympathetic to the man who is eating and started to argue with the passenger who called the police. He defended his actions, saying the man was breaking the rules.

The passenger at the center of the controversy then gets up, tells the man to have a nice day and exits the train at the next stop.

It is unclear if the police ever showed up to deal with the complaint.
