The new millennial aged socialist star of the Democrat party just can't seem to stop putting her foot in her mouth. While campaigning in Kansas with Bernie Sanders to help promote progressive candidate Brent Welder, Alexandria had another foot in mouth moment.
Since Bernie has lots of followers on Twitter, Alexandria thought it might be a good idea to use his account to post a video... Where she said she wants to flip Brent's seat "red".
A lot of people are confused by why she said that - does she mean she wants Republicans to win in Kansas? It's possible. And it's also possible she means "Communist red". Either way, not a good look for the DNC's new rising star.
But the fun didn't stop there! Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is currently in Kansas campaigning for a white man named Brent Welder.
During an interview with CBS, Alexandria explained that there are too many men in Congress and she wants to change that fact. It's almost like she forgot what she was doing - she's literally campaigning for a man (Brent Welder) with another guy (Bernie Sanders) while she tells people there are too many dudes in Congress.
I'm sure she has a cute excuse for this stupid comment, but does it matter? She's like a huge gaping hole inside the ship that is the Democrat party.
