Mark Tippets, the Texas Libertarian Party candidate for Governor, seems like a nice guy. I agree with his policy positions on gun rights, the economy and free speech. But this letter from Mark Tippets to Libertarian Party members in Texas, received by activist CJ Grisham, suggests he's a big fan of open borders.
The migrant caravan should not be seen as a threat but as a sign of hope. We now have thousands of people wishing to come to America with the belief that our country and its freedoms can offer change to their lives.
Shouldn't be seen as a threat? People in the caravan have admitted there are criminals traveling with them. What message does this say to the thousands of people waiting in line to come here legally?
That's too bad. Guess we'll have to vote for Greg Abbott.
