#MeToo: Radio Station Cut "Baby It's Cold Outside" From Playlist

What has the post #MeTo movement done to holiday music?

Star 102 in Cleveland is banning the Christmas classic "Baby it's  Cold Outside", because the lyrics seem slightly less innocent these  days.

They claim their listeners made the call, but the ones commenting on Facebook aren't happy about it.

Our culture is becoming to sensitive.  "Baby it's  Cold Outside" isn't a song about rape, it's about a guy trying convince his girlfriend that she's better off with him than going out into the cold.  If you're looking for hidden or double entendre, it's not there.

I know I'm not alone in this opinion.  After all, the Idena Menzel & Michael Buble version of the song features a music video starring small children.

Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel (with a little help from Leon Redbone) sang the song in the movie Elf.

And who could forget this version?

The point is: get over it people.  It's a cute song.  Stop being offended by everything.
