Nutjob: ND Man Admits He Plotted to Kill Trump With Forklift

A man from North Dakota has admitted he planned to use a forklift to flip over President Trump's limo and "kill the president".  He pleaded  guilty on Friday.

Gregory Lee Leingang, a 42-yr-old man from  Mandan, North Dakota, was charged in a federal court for his plan that  revolved around Trump's visit to his community in September 2017.

Trump planned to visit the area to give a speech on tax reform.

According  to U.S. Assistant State's Attorney Brandi Sasse Russell, the man stole a  forklift and entered Trump's motorcade route after the president  arrived in the city.

Unfortunately for Leingang, the plan didn't go so smoothly - he tried to escape after the forklift got stuck in a gated area.

He was caught by police and confessed his plan to the U.S. Secret Service.

Not exactly a criminal mastermind, is he?
