Less People Die At National Parks During Government Shutdown

We've spoken at length on the radio about how little the government shutdown actually affects your life, but here's another way of looking at the news.

If you exclude suicides, three people have died in national parks since the government shutdown started almost three weeks ago.

This number is less than the average 12-per-month when there's no shutdown taking place.

Strangely, the mainstream media isn't bragging about this news as a benefit of the shutdown.

I'm not saying the government shutdown doesn't matter, but the government shutdown doesn't matter.
