The Clemson Tigers visited the White House last night, since they beat Alabama and won the national championship last week.
And Trump bought them, "McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger Kings with some pizza" because "I would think that's their favorite food."
He paid for it himself because of the government shutdown.
Not surprisingly, people are really upset that Trump bought fast food for college kids. A short search of Twitter of Facebook reveals potentially thousands of outraged liberals ranting about health and nutrition. But why? Not every team gets fed when they visit the White House & Trump personally funded the meal himself. The players aren't required to eat it. It was a fun treat. Get over it. Stop complaining about the Clemson Tiger's dinner. College athletes have been eating junk food at the White House for decades. Remember Forrest Gump? We all thought it was charming when he drank too many Dr Peppers, right?
All that being said, this isn't really about the food. People are just mad because Hillary lost the election. That's all this is about.
