Apparently Democrat party leadership is starting to agree with Trump.
Is this the writing on the wall for the strong possibility that the Democrats are caving on the government shutdown fight?
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, a Democrat from Maryland, told Fox News host Bret Baier that border walls "obviously" work in some area, and he rejects any suggestion that barriers should be removed where they already exist.
The second most influential Democrat in the House also agreed that building a border wall is "not an issue of morality," despite claims by many of his fellow party members.
Hoyer's comments contradict the positions of other House Democrats who argued that border wall would be ineffective and immoral.
Last week Democratic Texas Rep. Veronica Escobar told CNN "we know walls don't work, that they don't stop drugs, that they don't stop migration."
Escobar also said she was open to destroying existing walls.

Only time will tell.
