The Democrat party has an antisemitism problem

The hot new stars in the progressive movement sound like mid-20th century German political leaders.

By now I'm sure you've all heard about the mess at the Women's March.    After it became common knowledge that group organizer Linda Sarsour has a  dangerously close relationship with Louis "The Jews are termites &  Hitler was a great leader" Farrakahn, over the past few months every  Left wing organization under the sun has distanced themselves from the  group.  From the DNC to the Southern Poverty Law Center, nobody wants  anything to do with the Women's March because of the optics of their  bigotry towards Jews and their attempts to normalize the hatred of  Israel.

But the damage was already done: far-left  anti-Israel activists have infiltrated the Democrat party and even found  their way to Congress.

Rep Rashida "Impeach the mother  f****er" Tlaib made headlines for being a politician who sounds like an  Antifa activist, but her views about Israel and Palestine are even more  troubling.

Freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib hosted a private  celebratory dinner on Saturday featuring anti-Israel activists who  praised terror group Hezbollah and Palestinian terrorists.  They also  said Israel has no right to exist and called for Israeli “Zionist  terrorist” Jews to return to Europe.  These are vile opinions to share  publicly but progressives think she's super neat-o.

And then  there's Rep Ilhan Omar, the Muslim lady who married her brother.   Anti-Israel sentiments are common place on her Twitter account and now  even CNN is questioning her opinions about Jews and the only Jewish  state on Earth.

This  week on CNN Rep. Omar defended a 2012 tweet in which she accused Israel  of “evil doings” and claimed Jewish people “hypnotized the world.”

Her excuse?

“Those  unfortunate words were the only words I could think about expressing at  that moment,” Omar told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Wednesday night.

Oh, okay.

In  short, these women have very negative opinions about Jewish culture  and, rather than being condemned by their own party for their words,  Omar and Tlaib are being hailed as the new rising stars of the DNC along  with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who has vilified Jewish people for their  "occupation of Palestine" but, when pressed on what she meant by that  comment, reluctantly admitted, "Look, I'm not the expert on this stuff."

If  these are the new rising stars of the DNC, their most admirable traits appear to be a combination of ignorance, bigotry and simply being fresh faces for young progressives to admire on cable news channels like CNN  and MSNBC.

Scary is an understatement.
