Texas Congressman Wants to Lower Voting Age

U.S. Rep. Vicente Gonzalez is a Democrat from McAllen, Texas, a city where a rape-house filled with illegal immigrants was recently discovered, thinks he knows what's best for America.

More specifically, Gonzalez thinks 16-year-olds should have the right to vote.

Gonzalez says he supports House Resolution 1 which seeks to give voting rates to people between the ages of 16 and 18.

In a recent press release Gonzalez said, “There is a growing sense of vigilance and civic engagement among our nation’s youth. From McAllen, Texas to Washington, D.C., our nation’s young people are holding the federal government to the highest standards and demanding that public servants at every level of government honor the promises they made to uphold the Constitution and serve their fellow Americans.”

The amendment, proposed by U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-MA, is part of the Democrat's recent efforts to find progressive voters where they didn't previously exist.

Young people sit in public schools all day and listen to teachers (Democrats) preach about gun control, climate change and the so-called gender wage gap. No wonder these people want kids to vote. They're literally brainwashing the very teenagers they seek to grant voting rights.

Rep Gonzalez is one more Democrat who cares more about getting elected than what's best for his country.
