There are really basically two news stories today involving Trump that might actually matter to you...
Story #1: Trump is suing the House to stop them from getting his financial records.
I actually kinda hope he wins. As much as I enjoy transparency in government, that's not even what this is about. Trump got rich when he was a private citizen. I don't care about his financial records from that period of time. It matters none to me at all. But the thought of the Democrats trying to weaponize the IRS and the Federal government to go after someone is absolutely deplorable.
Story #2: Trump wants his administration to crackdown on visa overstays
Good. Why aren't we already doing this? Trump was elected to fix our broken immigration system. Visa-overstays seems like an obvious place to start. There are potentially millions of these people out there and building a wall won't do anything to stop them from doing whatever they're currently doing.
There's your daily Trump news for today. You'll see other Trump related news stories but, if you're looking to avoid the spin-miesters, this is all you need to know.
