Watch: Bernie in Texas: Women & Blacks Are Just Like Violent Criminals

What's the difference between the rights of someone with ovaries compared to the rights of someone who murdered a dozen people?

Nothing, if you ask Bernie Sanders.

No, seriously. He feels the same way about rapists and people with black skin.

On Wednesday Presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said at the “She the People” event in Houston, Texas, that allowing imprisoned criminals to have voting rights is the same issue as allowing women and blacks the right to vote.

Bernie told the Texas audience, “I was criticized rather strongly because I said that when we talk about the right to vote that right should exist for people who are currently in jail.”

He continued, "I was told this was a terrible idea despite the fact that in Canada and in countries all over the world — why did I say that? I said that because the right to vote is essential. If you are a citizen, you have the right to vote.“And that is a right we must protect because we know the history of this country. We know that women didn’t have the right to vote. We know that African Americans didn’t have the rights to vote.”

Bernie doesn't see the difference between the rights of women and African-Americans compared to rapists, terrorists and murderers?

Nope, and he's proud to make this point.
