However you feel about a potential war with Iran (most of us aren't thrilled about the idea) one thing we could all easily predict - Rep Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is not taking America's side in this international contentious dispute.
The extremist Congressional rep has repeatedly defended Iran, the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism, taking to Twitter multiple times to tell her followers the United States should not take action against the rogue nation who recently attacked one of our drones and a handful of oil tankers.
"'To carry out such wars, American leaders have contrived pretexts to justify American aggression. That’s what Donald Trump’s administration—and especially its national security adviser, John Bolton—is doing now with Iran.'"
Omar also falsely suggested the U.S. was the "aggressor", not Iran. She basically ignored Iran's multiple attacks over the past week.
But she wasn't done yet - the Sharia loving lawmaker from Somalia said attacking Iran would make Trump look weak.
Omar has a long history of defending Islamic extremism and anti-American nations. This is just one more example.
