You probably never thought you'd hear someone say, "Taylor Swift is feuding with George Soros," but here we are.
No, Taylor isn't a Republican. Quite the opposite, actually; she's a raging lib.
But Taylor is accusing Soros of being part of "toxic male privilege" after she learned he had the audacity to invest money in her music.
Can you believe that?! What kind of horrible man invests his own money in the creative talents of a woman?!
Also... can you believe we're about to defend George Soros? I know; this is crazy.
Anyway, most of us probably know George Soros as the uber-billionaire who spends lots of money funding progressive politicians in tiny local races all over America, thus ensuring election outcomes that don't do much to help grassroots conservatives.
But it turns out he also purchases music publishing rights.
The rights to Taylor's music have been available for purchase at a nominal fee for quite sometime, assuming you're someone who has millions of dollars to spend on that sort of thing.
You've probably heard in recent months how ultra-liberal Taylor Swift has become outraged at her former manager, Scooter Braun, bought a large portion of her back catalog.
It turns out George Soros has done the same thing - and now Taylor is furious at George! Don't you just love it?
Taylor only has herself to blame: she believed that if she waited longer the price of her old music would go down. But she was wrong - she waited to purchase the publishing rights to her old music and the exact opposite happened: the cost went up.
Maybe Taylor just doesn't believe enough in the merits of her own success? Perhaps she didn't think her music would age well and the value would decrease. At any rate, she was wrong and now she's blaming "Sexism" and "toxic masculinity" because someone did something that she could have done but chose not to.
