This morning at appropriately 4:30am a massive explosion at 4500 Gessner in North Houston could be heard all over the region.
Investigators believe the explosion occurred at a valve plant in Northwest Houston. The plant is believed to be owned by Watson Valve.
There are two injuries reported thus far and two people killed. Witnesses claim a man covered in blood was taken by an ambulance.
City officials are advising witnesses to stay in their houses over fear of toxic chemicals burning into the air. The chemicals are believed to be nitrogen and propylene.
Police are blocking off streets in the area so please plan your commute accordingly.
Witnesses say debris fell from the sky after the explosion was heard.
