According to the Houston Chronicle, 23-year-old Tyler Pringle has been charged with killing two of the three people found shot to death after a robbery inside a southeast Houston apartment on Friday.
Pringle is accused in court documents of shooting and killing Sylvernia Edwards and Kevin Kelly. Houston police believe a second suspect worked with Pringle to perpetrate the robbery, but has not yet been identified. The identity of a third victim has not yet been released. Police speculate that the killings may have been part of a robbery over narcotics.
Tyler Pringle was out on a $15,000 bond for a previous Felony Family Violence Assault charge. He was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend, allegedly kicking her in the head and choking her in June 2019.
The tweet below from the Houston Police Officers' Union notes that Pringle was also out on bond for an earlier Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance charge when he allegedly committed the assault on his ex-girlfriend.
