President Donald Trump expressed his condolences for Good's death, calling it a tragedy, but defended ICE operations, stating that mistakes can occur during enforcement efforts.

The Trump administration has urged a judge to dismiss Minnesota's attempts to halt the immigration crackdown, arguing that federal law takes precedence over state law. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has accused the federal government of violating constitutional rights with its enforcement actions.
