The NFL has released a statement from Commissioner Roger Goodell addressing the league's new policy on players kneeling during the National Anthem. You can read the full statement below, but basically, players who don't want to stand during the anthem will be required to stay in the locker room, or off the field, until the Anthem has been performed.
