HE’S BACK: ISIS Leader RE-EMERGES with First Audio Message in 12 Months
The self-appointed leader of the Islamic State terrorist organization resurfaced Wednesday; releasing a new audio recording for the first time in nearly a year that urged ISIS militants all over the world to “continue fighting” the United States and its allies.
The hour-long tape, titled “Give Glad Tidings to the Patient” was allegedly recorded by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and released by al-Furqan Foundation, the network’s media arm and propaganda center.
“The whereabouts of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and the question of whether he is alive have been a continuing source of mystery and confusion. The group has lost around 90 percent of lands it once controlled in Iraq and Syria, where the group declared a caliphate in June 2014,” writes the New York Post.
In the 54-minute long rant, the terror leader congratulated those who have successfully carried out attacks across the globe; adding “America is going through the worse time in its entire existence”
Al-Baghdadi’s last recording was released in September 2017.
