Speaking of false rape allegations, here's a little news from Louisiana today.
Sheriff Jerry J. Larpenter states that at approximately 12:30am on September 22, 2018, a Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office patrol deputy was flagged down by a female.
The female identified herself as Shania Creppel (white female, 20 years of age residing at 15823 E. Amin St Cutoff, LA) and advised that she had been raped.
Creppel was transported to Terrebonne General Medical Center where the investigation continued by Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office Detectives, Narcotics Agents and Crime Scene Investigators.
After investigating this incident for hours, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office detectives were able to obtain video evidence that Creppel had lied about being raped. The video evidence showed that the sexual encounter was consensual and not forced.
Shania Creppel was arrested for one count of Criminal Mischief (Filing a False Police Report) and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex where she is being held on a $500 bond.
