A sheriff's deputy in California named Jeff Dishmon has been colorblind his whole life. But he got a cool gift from his co-workers last week: special glasses that allow him to see colors for the first time. He got pretty emotional when he tried them on, said it was a different world, and talked about watching a sunset with his wife.
When that sheriff's deputy got glassees that allowed him to see color for the first time, the first thing he did was call his wife. He told her the whole world was lit up, and said he couldn't wait to see her.
