Saints Cornerback Sentenced to 8 Years for Attempted Murder

34-year-old former Saints cornerback Brandon Browner will be  heading  off to a California state prison for 8 years because he   pleaded no contest to attempted murder.

Browner was  accused  of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment, chasing her,  dragging  her and smothering her in a carpet, according to the La Verne  Police  Department in California.

Browner was also accused of  stealing  the woman’s very expensive Rolex watch. He ran out of the  residence but  was later arrested and charged with attempted murder

Browner  played for the Saints about three years ago - in 2015. He's a former  Super Bowl Champ (with the Seahawks and Patriots) but he didn't perform   well in NOLA.  

He's also an attempted murderer.
