Merry Christmas! You just found a present on your flight from Seattle to Dallas.
A human heart was left on board a Southwest Airlines flight.
The human organ was accidentally kept on a connecting flight instead of being taken out of the cargo hold.
This caused the entire Dallas-bound flight to turn around.
The heart was on it's way to an area tissue processor, whatever that means.
Southwest said the incident, which occurred on Sunday's Flight 3606, was a "a life-critical cargo shipment" and was "intended to stay in Seattle for delivery to a local hospital."
Whoops!
