Heroes: Miraculous Things People Did This Week That Got Little Coverage

If the media was useful, and not overly negative, these news stories would have received way more coverage this week.

Lets start with this: an 82-year-old woman in Michigan has been using a  snowblower  to clear her neighbor's driveways this week. Even though her children and grandchildren have been asking her to stay inside. She said the snowblower reminds her of riding her Harley, and she loves being outdoors.

Next we take you to Chicago where someone rented enough hotel rooms to get 70 homeless people out of the cold on Wednesday. Before that they were using donated propane tanks to keep warm. But one of the tanks exploded, so the city confiscated them. The Salvation Army was going to move them to a warming center before the anonymous donor swooped in.

Two  pharmacists in Michigan knew their customers needed prescriptions, but were worried about them driving in the cold. So they delivered them on snowmobile.

The world is a pretty cool place.
