There's an Italian fashion designer who makes trendy clothes out of spoiled milk. 

She collects expired milk from farms to do it. Its complicated, but you can separate out the proteins and make thread. 

It's actually a technology that's been around since the 1930's. 

The t-shirts she makes out of it cost $50.
