Social distancing is smart, but it can go too far. According to WJLA, a shopper at a Walmart in Washington D.C. pepper sprayed other shoppers to keep them from getting on an elevator with her.
Shoppers were crowded around an elevator to the parking garage. A woman without the required face mask got on first and tried to close the door. The other shoppers objected and tried to push their way on. After arguing about needing her space for social distancing, the woman began pepper spraying the crowd and a security guard who struggled to stop her.
An ambulance was called, but the woman who took the brunt of the pepper spray declined treatment.
