Suspect in Local Shooting-Spree Arrested By Authorities

Some people will probably read this and think, "You guys only posted this news story because of the suspect's stupid haircut," but that's not true - look at his dumb chin-beard.

While not the most embarrassing mugshot ever taken, this is, at the very least, the most ridiculous local mugshot of the day.

35-year-old Joshua Kelsey, a man believed to be responsible for a deadly shooting spree on Houston's south-side, has been arrested, according to police.

In case you're wondering what he's accused of doing, here's some details courtesy of Tulsi Kamath:

Houston police have arrested a suspect after three people were killed and one was hurt in three shootings in Houston’s Southside Wednesday night that took place within a span of 45 minutes.
The first shooting was reported at about 8:15 p.m. in the 14200 block of Bridgeport Road near Danfield Drive. HPD Assistant Chief Troy Finner said a suspect, believed to be 35-year-old Joshua Kelsey, met with two African American men at that location. After an altercation, the suspect shot both men, Finner said.
The victims were rushed to the hospital where one was pronounced dead and the other was taken into surgery, Finner said.
Then, police say Kelsey stole the victims’ car and drove to a home in the 5230 block of Kelling Street about three miles away. At about 8:36 p.m., police said Kelsey forced himself into the home and shot a white man in his 60s. The victim was rushed to the hospital where Finner said he was pronounced dead.
The third shooting took place just after 9 p.m. at a home in the 13500 block of Hooper Road near Almeda Genoa Road. Finner said the suspect walked into the home and shot a Hispanic man in his late 40s. The victim was rushed to the hospital.
