Lafayette: "Antifa Takes River Ranch" Group Surfaces Online

We have no idea if this group is real but it's definitely interesting.

A Facebook page called "Antifa Takes River Ranch" has surfaced online that claims a group of anarchists are planning on conquering an affluent community in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The text on their page reads:

CAJUN COMRADES RISE UP! We will be gathering at Ruffino’s on the River to begin our complete takeover of the elite neighborhood known as River Ranch.
Card-carrying ANTIFA members ONLY!
WEAR 👏 YOUR 👏 UNIFORMS 👏
The takeover will begin with a traditional ANTIFA flag-burning ceremony which will be subsequently extinguished with ANTIFA spit and NAZI tears.
No children or minors. Large dogs welcome. Arms optional. Legs encouraged.

Meeting at Ruffinos on the River?! Come on - this has to be satire, right? I mean, it's pretty funny - but fake nonetheless, of course, right?

Probably, but even still: the political leader of Lafayette, Mayor-President Josh Guillory, actually responded to the controversy.

He said:

“Promoting a riot or any disorderly conduct, whether joking or a hoax, is irresponsible and reckless. Here in Lafayette Parish, we have absolutely zero tolerance for threats made against our citizens or their property, and we will act accordingly to prevent these situations from happening. Lafayette Police will monitor the situation closely and will take all necessary and appropriate measures."

Well, fake-Antifa, we have no idea if you really exist but Lafayette
