Everyone in Houston's talking about this video.
Yesterday on Fox 26, the local Houston Fox affiliate, a field reporter named Ivory Hecker had a candid moment on camera when she alerted the audience that she had plans to expose her employers with hidden recordings.
The content of the recordings is still unknown but Hecker told the viewers she's teaming up with Project Veritas, a right wing non-profit group that exposes liberal bias in the media.
Hecker said she will be participating in a sit-down interview this evening with Project Veritas to discuss the content of her undercover recordings.
Fox 26 has not yet put out a statement about Hecker.
In 2016 Fox 26 purportedly fired a reporter for a social media post that supported Trump, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Scarlett Fakhar will no longer be reporting the news via KRIV-TV, a Fox Television Stations representative said on Thursday.
Fakhar's departure follows a controversial post she made on her personal Facebook page, extolling U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and chastising President Barack Obama. The post also said, "I hate to say it.. but the number of African Americans killing one another far outweights the number of them being killed by whites."
Following a scathing critique from Scott Jones on FTVLive.com and other reports, Fakhar apologized for her statements.
