Over the past 24 hours a countess number of liberal political commentators on social media and various left-leaning news outlets have accused Border Patrol agents of using "whips" on Haitian migrants.
The photo they're reacting to is a picture of horse reins.
Nobody was whipped and President Biden's own DHS Secretary has already put out a statement clarrifying what happened but apparently Biden didn't get the memo because the White House is condemning the thing that never actually happened.
EL CENTRO, CA - JULY 31: The traditional riderless horse with backwards-facing boots is led through the burial service for Border Patrol Agent Robert Wimer Rosas on July 31, 2009 in El Centro, California. The 30-year-old father of two small children, whose shooting death July 23 while tracking a group of people alone in the bush-covered hills along the US-Mexico border near the rural town of Campo was the Border Patrol's first in more than a decade, had been with the agency for three years.
