DANG! That's almost enough drugs to get Hunter Biden high.
Former NFL player and ex-Los Angeles Rams first round pick Greg Robinson has once again found himself in trouble with the law. Robinson was allegedly arrested early Monday morning in Thibodaux, Louisiana, according to TMZ, and was issued a number of charges. He was reportedly found to be in possession of as much as $120,000 worth of drugs.
The Thibodaux Police Department said Robinson was pulled over as part of a routine traffic stop when a police K-9 unit allegedly smelled the odor of drugs coming from the former offensive lineman’s vehicle. Police reportedly searched the Black Cadillac Escalade and discovered evidence of drugs.
Police then ordered a search warrant of Robinson’s properties and discovered as much as $120,810 in drugs. The findings included three pounds of crystal meth, two pounds of cocaine, 40 pounds of marijuana, four grams of crack cocaine, 227 doses of hydrocodone, 48 doses of oxycodone, and 18 doses of alprazolam, which is another form of Xanax, as well as firearms and ammunition, per Yahoo!
Robinson is reportedly still behind bars at Lafourche Parish Jail with his bail set at $315,000. This isn’t the first time the former NFL player has been arrested in connection to drugs. In February 2020, Robinson was arrested after being found with 157 pounds of marijuana in his car. He was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine.
Greg Robinson was the no. 2 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but his career never panned out. Aside from the Rams, he also had stints with the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns, playing his last game in the NFL in 2019.
