A brewery bartender in St. Louis tried to talk his way out of being carjacked on Monday, and the carjacker tried to shoot him in the leg. Luckily his gun jammed.
But he still got the keys. Except he also dropped his phone in the process.
So the victim grabbed the phone . . . offered to trade the phone to get his keys back . . . and it worked.
