"Nap Bar" Opens In Houston Because Millennials Want Us To Hate Them

Rice Village is an upscale community in Houston where hipster-yuppies go to buy limited edition sneakers at Urban Outfitters before dining on crepes at a local creperie. A short drive from Rice Village you'll even find a day spa for babies. I'm not kidding. That's just the kinda place Rice Village is.

And now Khaliah Guillory, a woman described by the Houston Business Journal as a "40 Under 40 2018 honoree", will open Houston's first nap spot in the same neighborhood next month.

What's a nap bar? Based on the description, it's exactly what you think it is - you pay them to let you nap for a brief period of time.

When I heard "hourly rates" for beds, I assumed we were talking about a seedy motel frequented by prostitutes and their Johns, but this is entirely different.

Yuppies pay to take a nap.

Why? Because they want us to hate them.

I'm kidding! I'm sure Guillory is a nice person. I have no idea.
