National Felon League: Texans Tight End Arrested in Nashville

If you play tight end for the Houston Texans, the Nashville police would like to have a word with you; especially if your name is Ryan Griffin.

Griffin was arrested Friday night for purportedly punching out a window at a Tennessee hotel while under the influence of alcohol, local police claim.

The 29-year-old smashed a window at Hotel Indigo around 11:40 p.m., according to Metro Nashville police. The 2019 NFL Draft was currently being held in the city.

When police arrested Griffin his hand was bleeding profusely, probably from the broken window.

A police spokesperson described Griffin as being, "intoxicated and unsteady on his feet."

Griffin was arrested for vandalism and public intoxication. He was booked into the Davidson County jail where he posted a $1,750 bond and left around 7:15 a.m. according to court records.

Griffin has played for the Texans since 2013.
