According to ZeroHedge, female students at a UK school were prevented from attending class by officials and police because they refused to comply with a new gender neutral uniform policy. The new policy would do away with skirts and have all students wear trousers.
The school claimed the policy change was made to address inequality and to be inclusive, but both students and parents were outraged. Some felt that a true gender neutral uniform would allow both boys and girls to wear either skirts or trousers. Others were upset at being forced to pay more than £100 for another uniform that would last just 9 months.
